Between November 1st and December 3rd, Twist Out Cancer has the chance to raise $35,000 through a generous matching grant sponsored by the Coleman Foundation. Every donation of $175.00 or more will be matched with a $175.00 gift from the Coleman Foundation. $12,500 in matching dollars are available to us - and now is the time to give!

A Month of Giving is also being spearheaded by a member of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation network and has been awarded a matching grant. Schusterman is a global organization that seeks to ignite the passion and unleash the power in young people to create positive change for themselves, the Jewish community and the broader world. For the last 5 years, Twist Out Cancer has participated in #GivingTuesday fundraising which has allowed us to leverage the power of social media and community to raise awareness and funds for the critical mission and work of Twist Out Cancer. Since 2011 Twist Out Cancer has provided critical psychosocial support to individuals touched by cancer through creative arts programming. Our signature program Brushes with Cancer which matches artists with individuals touched by cancer has reached over 22,000 people in the last 7 years! With your help and generosity we have the opportunity to continue to bring this program to new cities and continue to scale our Twistshops which are art therapy workshops that provide participants with a safe and non-judgmental space to process, share and heal.
