For the last 5 years, Twist Out Cancer has participated in #GivingTuesday fundraising which has allowed us to leverage the power of social media and community to raise awareness and funds for the critical mission and work of Twist Out Cancer. Since 2011 Twist Out Cancer has provided critical psychosocial support to individuals touched by cancer through creative arts programming. Our signature program Brushes with Cancer which matches artists with individuals touched by cancer has reached over 22,000 people in the last 7 years! With your help and generosity we have the opportunity to continue to bring this program to new cities and continue to scale our Twistshops which are art therapy workshops that provide participants with a safe and non-judgmental space to process, share and heal.
We hope you will join us and help to ensure that everyone touched by cancer has a place to share their story and connect with an empathic community that is there to support them.

Thank you for your generosity and support!

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. We've created a directory to help you find organizations, charities, events and more in your own community.
