About our Trustee Program
Our Trustee program is a community driven program that is made up of current and former parents, Academy instructors and alumni students. Trustee contributions are vital in sustaining our efforts to make every Telluride Academy program inclusive and accessible. The consistency that a Trustee contribution brings to our annual budgeting process is paramount in shaping our fundraising efforts and is the backbone of our non-profit platform. As the Executive Director for Telluride Academy, I am working hard to both increase Trustee participation among our incredibly generous and passionate community as well as honoring and celebrating the role Trustees play in ensuring our legacy of Inclusion, Diversity and Participation continues for the next 40 years! We have an awesome Trustee “Hike and Happy Hour” planned for next summer to show our appreciation and get everyone outside!
Trustees can earmark their annual contributions for such things as Tuition Assistance, Inclusion & Special Needs, Staff Training or for specific tracks of programming (rock climbing, after-school, etc). Trustee contributions are five-year commitments and are traditionally made at either a $2,500, $3,500, $5,000 or $10,000 level.
To date in 2019, we have awarded over $220,000 in tuition assistance to over 250 students. We as administration and staff live and work by the credo of offering "Adventures for All" and through the support of our extensive and committed community, we can achieve this important goal year in and year out. The foundation of this ambitious endeavor is the annual support we receive from our Trustees!
