Thank You For Those Who Have Already Supported

We would like to extend a gracious thank you to all the school families, grandparents, and friends of the community who have already generously donated to the Call To Arms campaign.  As we approach our goal of 100% participation among school families, know that each dollar directly supports the school. Your gifts directly assist the administration in their efforts to offset the impact of the pandemic!  It is NOT too late to share your gift. The CALL TO ARMS fundraising initiative runs through until December 31, 2020!  #GiveStPats

The Story Of Call to Arms And St. Patrick's Annual Fund

As we all know, this has been a challenging year for everyone in every industry and every family, forcing us all to reinvent how we operate in the world.  There are many things we can’t wait to put in the rear-view mirror, but we have also identified lessons learned that we are taking with us beyond the pandemic. For the St. Patrick’s School community, one of those lessons will be the importance of asking our community for more direct support. Each year tuition covers only the budgeted expenses to operate for that year, not creating a safety net for unexpected needs, savings towards identified physical improvements or funding for new on-going programs. The success of this CALL TO ARMS crowd-sourced fundraiser, initially conceived in response to a global pandemic, has caused us to change how we approach fundraising and align our tactics with those employed by most Catholic elementary schools by creating an Annual Fund. For more information on the future St. Patrick’s Annual Fund, please click on the “Why Fundraise” tab.

The mission of the CALL TO ARMS COVID-19 RELIEF AND RECOVERY FUND is to provide necessary funds to facilitate the continued quality of education at St. Patrick’s School during the uncertain period of the pandemic. The current pandemic has impacted every aspect of community life. Our school is facing a financial challenge over, at least, a 12-18 month period, and possibly beyond given the unknown trajectory of this pandemic.

By donating, you are empowering our leadership to strategically and flexibly respond to the crisis, as well as remove certain barriers to in-classroom learning. Before donating, consider checking with your employer to determine whether you can take advantage of a corporate gift matching program. Your total contribution will be matched by the Shamrock Society and will help the school address:

  • Technology upgrades to advance education during the pandemic;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing operations;
  • Building maintenance and reconstruction to support CDC compliant in-person learning;
  • Faculty support, training, and hiring as needed to support a safe school environment;
  • The added expenses associated with the possible future use of the Parish Center as a shared facility with the public;
  • Uncertain tuition revenue due to fluctuating enrollment;
  • The loss of fundraising revenue suffered this academic year due to the inability to gather.
