CASE STATEMENTS FOR OUR NEEDS

 

The Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit trust in the Father’s abundant provision for our needs. Knowing that He provides most often through His people, we rely heavily on the financial generosity of benefactors across the country to cover monthly bills, repair and maintenance of friaries and vehicles, staff salaries, retreats, and other living expenses throughout the year. We invite you to consider a monthly or annual pledge to support our livelihood so that we can continue to minister effectively to our Native American and inner-city parishes. Below are just a few ways that your regular contribution may be used.

$1000 PER MONTH

With your contribution of $1000 per month we will be able to further our evangelistic outreach efforts:

  • One person giving at this level ($12,000 a year) would allow us to advertise our new documentary nationwide through Catholic-based media
  • Three people giving at this level ($36,000 a year) would take care of our entire car maintenance, gas, and insurance for an entire year, ensuring safe travel as we minister to the nearly 500 square miles of Reservation in Phoenix
  • Five people giving at this level ($60,000 a year) would create another priest’s salary for Native American Ministries to ensure we are able to have the future support we’ll need to continue our work

 

$500 PER MONTH

Your contribution of $500 per month will allow us to take care of many practical and technological needs:

  • One person giving at this level ($6,000 a year) would provide for the friary groceries for an entire year
  • Three persons giving at this level ($18,000 a year) can take care of our website maintenance, donor database and merchant fees, and computer software to ensure we’re reaching out to and cultivating new individuals/organizations to partner in our mission
  • Five persons giving at this level ($30,000 a year) helps us provide for friary expenses such as emergency repair, regular maintenance, and utilities for our Phoenix and Detroit facilities


$250 PER MONTH

Your contribution of $250 per month will help Native ministries, vocational outreach, and support staff to the friars

  • One person giving at this level ($3,000 a year) would help provide our weekly youth groups with food, supplies, and retreats for an entire year
  • Three persons giving at this level ($9,000 a year) can help support the friars in their efforts to encourage vocations to their community which includes a presence at major Catholic conferences, Come & See weekends, and print materials
  • Five persons giving at this level ($15,000 a year) would help fund health insurance for future seminarians as well as support staff for the friars


$100 PER MONTH

Your contribution of $100 per month can help with friar spiritual support, on-going formation, as well as medical/dental visits:

  • One person giving at this level ($1,200 a year) can help a friar attend an annual retreat and aid in his spiritual development
  • Three persons giving at this level ($3,600 a year) could help furnish books and learning materials for continued and      on-going formation for priest-friars
  • Five persons giving at this level ($6,000 a year) would take care of medical/dental visits for a year


$50 PER MONTH

Your contribution of $50 per month helps take care of various expenses such as liturgical and household items and office supplies

  • One person giving at this level ($600 a year) helps with office supplies both in the friary and at our offices
  • Three persons giving at this level ($1,800 a year) can help with various household items we need month to month
  • Five persons giving at this level ($3,000 a year) takes care of liturgical expenses such as wine, bread, candles, vestments, altar linens, flowers etc. to keep our chapel and church furnished


$25 PER MONTH

Your contribution of $25 per month helps with our recreation time with our brothers, various religious gifts we give such as rosaries and prayer cards, as well as any dues or subscription fees we have:

  • One person giving at this level ($300 a year) can go toward recreation time we spend weekly with our brothers
  • Three persons giving at this level ($900 a year) helps us provide religious items like rosaries and prayer cards we give out while ministering
  • Five persons giving at this level ($1,500 a year) could cover program costs, photography, and videography for our ordinations and professions
