CKC Reaching for the Stars Fundraiser

CKC & COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic and the need for social distancing, all of CKC's programs have been shut down since the Coatesville Area School District closed on March 16, 2020.

However, even though our programs have temporarily stopped, our commitment to the children and families we serve has not.

Over the past month and a half, our staff have worked hard to provide donated groceries and gift cards to support our families with food challenges, have provided supplemental funds for utility and rent assistance for families who have lost jobs, have created worksheet packets and supplemental educational resources to support learning at home, have set up video chats and Zoom meetings with students to provide encouragement and social connection, have dropped off Easter baskets and devotional materials to encourage our students, have provided information about community resources, and have checked in weekly with all of our students and families to provide support, encouragement and prayer.

Coatesville Kids to College would like to thank the Brandywine Health Foundation for providing a grant to provide coronavirus relief in the community, F4 and Highland Orchards for providing food donations, Hopewell United Methodist Church for providing financial assistance, and all of the individual donors who have supported our efforts to assist families who are facing challenges due to COVID-19.

We are proud to be a part of the great efforts taking place by the Coatesville community to support those in greatest need.
