About Colorado UpLift
Since 1982, Colorado UpLift has been building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth with a vision of fostering new generations of city leaders. Our model is holistic and highly relational with full-time Teacher/Mentors and five program areas: In-School, After-School, Advanced Leadership, Adventure, and Post-Secondary. Through these programs we teach students character and leadership development in accredited classes, mentor students in a variety of formats, provide youth with new and challenging experiences, and prepare students for life after high school. Our In-School Program currently runs in 21 schools in Denver and Aurora, but in the past year alone we have mentored students from over 120 different schools. In 2019, Colorado UpLift impacted over 3,770 students with over 120,000 unique student interactions.
