Muirlands Foundation is dedicated to supporting excellence in teaching and learning. Our annual giving campaign raises funds required to sustain programs, staffing, equipment, supplies and initiatives that enhance the middle school experience for our students.

About 2024-25 Muirlands Gives Annual Campaign
Dear Parents:
It’s an exciting time to be part of Muirlands Middle School. We have reached a significant milestone in Muirlands’ history by receiving recognition as a California Distinguished School. This statewide program honors exemplary and inspiring public schools that demonstrate significant gains in narrowing the achievement gap.1 US News and World Reports also ranked Muirlands Middle School as the number one middle school in the San Diego Unified School District.
The Muirlands Foundation is at the center of these achievements, supporting Principal Jeffrey Luna's leadership by supplying funds specifically tailored to improving students’ learning and social experience at Muirlands.
On behalf of the Muirlands Middle School Foundation, we ask every family to contribute to the Muirlands Gives Campaign. Your contribution will help bridge the gap between the District's allocations to Muirlands and the funds necessary to support the school's robust learning environment and student activities.
The suggested 2024-2025 school year donation is $500 per student. However, we recognize that some of our families may be able to give more. Additional donations allow our Principal and the Foundation to do even more to continue Muirlands’ upward trajectory. Donations can be made in a variety of ways, including (1) Venmo @MuirlandsTreasurer, (2) online with a credit card https://donate.onecause.com/muirlandsgives, (3) by check made payable to the Muirlands Foundation and sent to Attn: Muirlands Gives/Muirlands Foundation 1056 Nautilus St. La Jolla, CA 92037 (4) stock donation (please email giving@muirlandsfoundation.org for instructions).
Every contribution counts, and our primary goal is 100% participation. As a token of our gratitude, all donors will be recognized by name in Muirlands Foundation announcements. P.S. Donors who contribute or pledge $800 or more to Muirlands Gives by October 11, 2024, will be invited to the Muirlands Gives Cocktail Party along with guest teachers and administrators, which will be hosted on Friday, October 25, 2024, at one of our families’ beautiful homes within five minutes of the school.
