Marygrove's Hope and Healing

Support our Campaign

YOUR GIFT MULTIPLIES FOR OUR CHILDREN FINDING HOPE AND HEALING!

For 24 hours, our Board members and generous matching gift benefactors will challenge donors and the greater St. Louis community to put their best gifts forward in support of Marygrove kids living in our Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program. Our goal is to raise $150,000!

Our Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program has a funding opportunity of $998,120, which is met through generous gifts from our amazing community. With an average of 101 kids on campus each day, that equals $9,887 per child per stay.

That’s where YOU can help! Every gift you donate is QUADRUPLED on May 19-20 from 2 pm to 2 pm, up to $150,000! For every $1 you give, Marygrove will receive $4. Every $1 will be matched by our generous benefactors to help us reach our goal of $150,000.

Thank you to our Matching Gift Donors!

You provide HOPE and HEALING to children and youth in our residential care!

“Marygrove is a place of refuge for me and many others.

They picked me up out of my ashes and dusted me off.

~Shannon, Rosewood Cottage resident in the Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program

Little is more heartbreaking than a child, like Shannon, being removed from their home due to neglect, abuse, trauma, or abandonment. Thankfully, most of us will never know what it’s like not to have a happy home, to fight for kindness, to search for food, to be safe for another day. But for our kids, their stories are different, more challengingoften more painfuland we are thankful we can be their safe haven in the midst of family chaos.

Our cornerstone service, the Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program, is housed on the Marygrove Campus and is the second largest single site residential treatment program in the region, serving more than 120 counties in Missouri and Illinois. Boys and girls arrive at Marygrove at all hours with immediate needs that include clean clothes, hot food, and a warm bed. On average, each child stays with us for 8.5 monthsThey learn social skills, obtain Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for school to help if they are behind a grade level, and receive much needed and often long overdue medical, dental, and vision care.

We strive to meet every need our kids have while living with us. Our wraparound Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program is delivered by round-the-clock residential technicians and by Masters-level therapists. When kids are hurting, there’s no time to wait for help.

We are everything to our kids while they are with us – home, parent, chef, teacher, friend. We enjoy outings, celebrate holidays, and birthday parties – all joyful experiences every child should have. Marygrove staff members may be the only adults our kids can trust in the world. Our Treatment Team works diligently so our children get better, not bitter. Together, we are a Marygrove family providing hope and healing!
