Elevate Indy is continuing to come alongside and positively impact our students in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis. The need in our city is great, but together we can bring incredible transformation through long-term, life-changing relationships.

Why we Elevate Indianapolis:

Elevate Indianapolis was founded in 2016 replicating Elevate USA, a national model with a 40-year history, when it launched in the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) at Arsenal Tech High School, Harshman Middle School, and Theodore Potter School #74.  In 2019, Elevate Indianapolis expanded to George Washington High School and Matchbook Learning School #63. Elevate is dedicated to reversing the trend of increasing high school dropout rates and associated negative outcomes by supporting IPS students who are most at-risk for dropping out and failing to pursue postsecondary education.

Since 2016, Arsenal Tech High School students have thrived in the Elevate program. Over ninety percent of Elevate Seniors have graduated.  While short-term outcomes focus on graduation metrics, the broader, long-term goal is to equip and empower students to successfully navigate life’s challenges. Elevate participants receive personal mentorship, special in-class learning opportunities that teach and develop life and character skills, unique adventure opportunities, and post-secondary preparation and support.
