Cumberland Valley High School Supports Susquehanna Service Dogs

All funds raised will support Susquehanna Service Dogs and our efforts to raise, train and place service dogs, hearing dogs, and facility dogs to assist children and adults with disability to lead the lives they want to live.

Cumberland Valley’s Senior Class is helping raise funds for Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) so that they can name a future service dog! A program of Keystone Human Services, Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) breeds, raises, trains, and places service dogs and hearing dogs, as well as facility dogs, to support children and adults to become more independent in their daily lives. We work hard to match people and dogs to form a successful partnership and follow each team for the working life of the dog and through the dog’s retirement. Whether our assistance dogs are retrieving dropped items or helping their partner navigate a crowded store, they’re assisting their partners to live full, rich, meaningful lives. Based in Grantville, PA, SSD is an accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.
