Today we celebrate the Feast of All Saints. This is a great day, a Holy Day - a day to rejoice and be thankful. We celebrate all of the Saints who are in Heaven - known and unknown. They have competed well; they have finished the race; they have kept the faith. The lives of the saints teach us about true discipleship, and are models of holiness for us all.
At All Saints, we are forming saints by Building a Firm Foundation in Christ for all of our students - past, present and future. Recall Jesus' parable of the two builders from Matthew 7:24-27. The house that the builder constructed on a rock-solid foundation withstood the howling winds, the catastrophic rains, and even the flood that came. That house stood firm, and in reality, is a metaphor for our lives, and what we accomplish each day at All Saints Catholic Academy.
Every student and every family that has ever been a part of our All Saints school community has contributed to our success and is a part of this foundation. On our Feast Day, reflect on what All Saints has meant to your student and your family. Help us to reach our goal of $15,000. Your gift at the highest level that you are able to give will help to ensure that our current and future Saints will continue Building a Firm Foundation in Christ at All Saints. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
