2023 TEAM WILLA for Girls STEAM SUCCESS Club

TEAM WILLA, in support of Homewood Science Center’s Girls STEAM SUCCESS Club, will help female students, from low-income households across the south suburbs of Chicago, develop an interest in STEAM through a series of fun and engaging events.

I've been involved with Homewood Science Center’s Girls STEAM programming since its inception in 2017, and I’ve been excited to watch it grow. This year’s Girls STEAM SUCCESS Club will feature:

• STEAM Celebration– a full-day conference in March connecting girls with women in STEAM hosted at Prairie State College & Conference Center

• CPR/First Aid Training Scholarships for 24 students, with training taking place in April

• Field Trips in May, June, and July

• Back-to-School Family Movie Night in August at Homewood Science Center
