As we all prepare for the holiday season, there are neighbors in our communities that are in need - many of which have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. For those individuals with the greatest needs today, for the families who deserve a better future, and for the communities we are all a part of – United Way will be here, but we can’t do it without your help.
There are a few ways to help other Find JOY this year! Visit our Ways to Give Holiday Joy menu and find:
- Opportunities, including one-time and short-term volunteer activities, to serve organizations around the holidays. Commitment to a volunteer project is critical to these organizations at this time of the year, as many see an influx of those they are serving.
- We are proud to share we are bringing JOY to the holidays for 111 local families. United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties' Adopt-A-Family program has matched local companies, organizations, groups and families to our neighbors in need. United Way is working hard to make local impact as this is almost double the families we served in 2019!
