When I joined the cast of Two River's production of The Real Thing in 1998, I knew I had found a special artistic home. Since then, I have appeared in seven productions and have served as a board member since 2005. Over the last twenty-five years I have seen the theater go through many transitions. Some were joyous like the opening of the theater campus in Red Bank and the completion of The Center for New Work, Education, and Design. Some were heart-breaking like the loss of the theater's founder Robert Rechnitz and the shuttering of our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What has remained constant is that Two River is my family. I imagine you feel the same way, you are part of our family and this is your theater.
As we head into yet another significant transition with Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst moving on, Two River remains committed to our core mission to develop and produce great American theater.
This spring, I invite you, our loyal friends and audience members, to join me in building what may be at Two River Theater. Join us for more world premieres and classic plays. Join us in inspiring the next generation of theater lovers. Join us with a gift of your support today.
I can't wait to see what we may be together.
