Raising Hope for Orphans supporting The Sacred Portion Children's Outreach
What Does Sacred Portion Do?
The Sacred Portion Children's Outreach is an orphan care and adoption ministry that was founded in 1998. Over the years, God has molded this ministry to be what He would have it to be. Our organization has grown to have multiple focuses that all revolve around our mission of "Creating Better Environments and Brighter Futures for Children without Families." These include our work with
- The Rehoboth Children's Home, an orphanage in the Philippines
- Our Summer of Hope hosting program for older orphans
- Our work as a licensed and Hague accredited adoption agency
Your donation through our Raising Hope for Orphans fundraiser will help to sustain all of these programs.
The world has changed. Offices, businesses, churches, and schools all look different right now, either with modifications to allow for social distancing or in many cases just emptied of people and activity. Many of the events and activities that grace the seasons of the year have been postponed or cancelled. Such is the case with our annual Giving Hope to Orphans dinner and art auction typically held in November. We, like other organizations, rely on our annual fundraiser to cover a significant part of our budget. As an alternative to our usual fundraiser, we have chosen to do a virtual online appeal called Raising Hope for Orphans. During these pandemic times, when so much of the world is shut down and closed off, we need to lift up children in orphanages around the world. Although many things have changed, every child's need for a permanent, loving family has not.
Please consider participating in our Raising Hope for Orphans virtual fundraiser so that we are able to continue our work on behalf of children without families. If you are a regular attendee of our Giving Hope to Orphans fundraiser, we would encourage you to give at the level of what you would typically spend or donate at that event. For others, any amount that you are able to give will be a blessing. Let us together RAISE up the children who desperately need our help in being set on a new path of HOPE!
