REED House supporting Ed Reed Foundation

Pro Football Hall of Famer Ed Reed launched the Ed Reed Foundation in 2002, his rookie year with the Baltimore Ravens. After visiting local schools and seeing the challenges that youth from low-income neighborhoods were facing, he dedicated his philanthropic work to being a force for positive change for young people. Seeing many of the similarities between his hometown in New Orleans, Ed brought the same passion he showed on the football field to the Baltimore community.
The REED House will be a youth community center/safe space in West Baltimore and will serve as an extension of our existing programs supporting Booker T. Washington Middle School, who we have worked with for over 22 years. The REED House will provide:
• After school extended learning; study hall, academic support and tutoring
• Educational teaching kitchen and food access resources
• Health and wellness activities and social/emotional support
• Mentorship focused on career development, resume building, college readiness.. and more
We hope you will join us in bringing this amazing asset to a community that will greatly benefit!
