This has been a tough year for all of us! I needed Pug Rescue of Florida’s help this year and they gladly saved me and lots of other pug friends - even when the pandemic made it so difficult to raise the needed funds to do so. They weren't even able to hold Pugsgiving - the biggest fundraiser of the year. Our virtual Pugsgiving only earned a fraction of what was earned in years past. This is what they do, day in and day out. They spend over $200,000 to help hundreds of pugs and pug mixes every year. That’s a BIG job! So, we wanted to ask you to please remember PROoF in your year-end donation plans.
The PUGS need PROoF and PROoF needs YOU! Sadly, many pugs and pug mixes rescued by PROoF are senior and/or special needs and most have serious medical issues or haven't been to the vet in several years. PROoF provides vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm tests/preventative/treatment, medications, surgeries -- you name it! It takes a lot of time, effort, love, and money to get all of the pugs the care they need.
Some of the older pugs actually stay with PROoF foster families so they can get the medical care and TLC they need to comfortably live out the rest of their days — we call them “Long Term Care” pugs. If you have it in your heart to send monthly donations that will help to sponsor our LTC pugs and pay for the ongoing medications they need.
