Scribbles to Novels brings together our Jumpstart community to honor the importance of early literacy and the ways in which access to high-quality early education is a powerful life-changer.
Our work is more important than ever now that more than a million students in the region will remain out of school this year. We know that the long-term impacts of learning loss due to COVID-19 will be exacerbated for our most vulnerable children. Those hit hardest by this extended out-of-school time means the opportunity gap is widening among the local preschool children we serve each year. Your participation will ensure early literacy and education equity work remains possible during this unprecedented time.
