2024-25 Friends of La Jolla Elementary Annual Giving Campaign
Friends of La Jolla Elementary, Inc. (Friends) is the school’s fundraising group. We are a parent-run non-profit organization that benefits the children of LJES. Our mission is to bridge the gap between public funding and the resources needed to cultivate a thriving educational community. Powered by your donations, together we are able to pay for the following instructional enrichments:
What We Support:
- Additional classroom teachers to reduce class size
- Instructional support teachers to work with students in small groups
- Enrichment programs: staffing and materials for music, art, technology, and dance/theater rotation
- Everyday Mathematics curriculum
- Lunch and recess supervisory staff, including YMCA Playground Partners
- Technology enhancements
- Classroom supplies and educational resources for each teacher
Friends chooses its projects based on input from parents, the LJES Governance Team and School Site Council, our principal, and our teachers. We strive to support and provide educational programs which impact the highest number of students possible at La Jolla Elementary School.

Our mission is to enhance and enrich the education of each child at the school. Powered by your donations, together we are able to pay for the instructional enrichments.
Donors at the Gold, Silver, and Bronze level by Friday, September 27th, 2024 will be invited to an Annual Giving Campaign cocktail party hosted at one of our families' beautiful homes in La Jolla, on October 18th, 2024.
