Harrisburg Academy has taken steps to ensure our students health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have developed health and safety protocols for the 2020-21 school year in adherence to state and CDC regulations to mitigate health risks for students, faculty, staff, and administration while working to support our students emotionally and academically.

To maintain the highest standards of health and safety at the Academy, and to ensure our school met the CDC requirements and reopen with a hybrid instructional model in the fall, we invested in:

  • Merv-12 filters so fewer dust particles and airborne contaminants can pass through our HVAC system
  • 2 Ionizing cleaners to sanitize classrooms every night
  • Outdoor tents for classroom space to allow for greater opportunities for social distancing
  • Hand sanitizers for use in each classroom and hand sanitizing stations
  • Infrared thermometers
  • Masks

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to surge, the ongoing expense to Harrisburg Academy continue to rise as well. Your gift to the Academy Fund in support of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund shows that you care about the safety and well-being of each and every student, faculty, and staff member. We believe that's an investment worth making, and we are grateful for your support.
