Our community is defined by what we do when faced with adversity.
The past year has brought unprecedented challenges. A pandemic has changed the way we live in order to stay healthy, for ourselves and others. It has stressed our healthcare system in ways we could not have expected.
In the midst of so much uncertainty, you have come together to support each other with tremendous generosity.
And you’ve given back to our community through Methodist Hospital of Southern California. The outpouring of support in the form of much needed personal protective equipment, meals for our healthcare heroes, and cash donations to support our staff as they deal with economic struggles and our fight against the COVID-19 has been awe inspiring. THANK YOU!
But there is still work to be done, and you can be part of the solution.
…triple your impact
Your gift between 11/24 through Giving Tuesday on 12/1 has the potential to be triple matched through the generosity of three community and hospital leaders. Foundation Board Chair Dr. Richard Bukata, Foundation Board Member Angelo Antoci, and Hospital Board Chair Jim Romo have each pledged $5,000 to match the first $5,000 in gifts.
That means if you give $25, your gift will be matched with $75 and become $100!
…make a difference for our community
You are a critical part of helping us provide patients the high level of care you expect from Methodist Hospital during these uncertain times. As a non-profit hospital, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us when a crisis happens. Your donation today helps purchase the supplies and equipment needed to treat patients with any condition, including COVID-19.
…help our healthcare heroes
Making a gift today funds the protective equipment our staff use to stay safe with new infection protocols, and ensures they have the latest technology and facilities at their disposal.
Your donation today can also be designated to the COVID-19 Emergency Employee Assistance Fund which goes directly to our staff impacted financially by the pandemic. From unexpected childcare costs and caring for sick family members, to dealing with spouses out of work, you can help these heroes today.
…continue a legacy of medical excellence delivered with kindness
Methodist Hospital’s staff is known for combining their skill at treating patients with kindness, paying attention to every detail and going above and beyond to make you feel like family during your stay. Your support means we can hire the very best caregivers to join this team and provide exceptional experiences when you or your family, friends and neighbors come to get care.
Celebrated on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States, Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages people to do good. Since 2012, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generously.
