COVID-19 has put us on the front line, doing everything in our power to keep the children of essential workers safe. We are open to families who do not have the option to shelter in place or work from home, and the pandemic has radically altered our daily work to provide quality early childhood education. Our classrooms are operating at reduced capacity for social distancing, and we have restricted enrollment to those families with the financial need of our support. In addition, all 2020 fundraising events have been canceled. As a result, we are facing a deficit of half of our usual funding and a financial crisis.
