We see the impact of our work in the lives of youth and caregivers all over Illinois: we help youth pack to leave our residential programs when they receive permanent placements; we cheer with families when they are successfully reunited; we help new moms navigate the vulnerability of motherhood; we offer care and support to homeless youth who have nowhere else to go; we watch students from our Kiefer School and Academy for Autism cross the stage to earn their high school diploma; we respond 24 hours a day to youth experiencing psychiatric distress; and so much more. Each month, we support 1,700 kids and families through community-based and family-focused programs.
While residential facilities continue to close across Illinois, the demand for our services is at an all-time high. We will answer the call and continue to fulfill our mission.
We envision a future where every child and family in need receives resources, care, and support so they can thrive. That’s a future we can all believe in.
