WHAT WILL YOUR SILVER LINING CONTRIBUTION ACCOMPLISH?

Reinvigorate our Corporate Work Study Program

Our Corporate Work Study Program is vital to our students’ development and our school’s financial success. This past year the program was particularly impacted due to the pandemic, resulting in $1,000,000 loss in revenue. We need your support as we continue to adapt, training student workers to answer corporate needs, whether it’s remote or in-office work.

Help Counselors and Nurses Find a Way

CRSM is blessed to have a strong Counseling and Nursing staff. This year they have worked to find a way to help our students and their families cope with the serious financial, emotional and healthcare issues caused by the pandemic. Establishing protocols to keep COVID out of the building, assisting with the college application process and working to secure college scholarships are just a few of the ways they have done that. The annual cost of these services is $200,000 or $500 per student.

Provide Tuition Assistance

Family tuition payments total $500,000 annually or $1,250 per student. Though our students contribute to their tuition through their work study earnings, families are also required to pay a portion of tuition. The economic damage from the pandemic has been particularly devastating to our community. The need for your support is even greater this year.

Keeping our Students Safe and Healthy

Beginning in March 2021, more students are returning to in-person learning. While continuing all social distancing and CDC safety measures, we're also testing students for COVID at least once a week using Abbott's BinaxNOW testing, with an estimated cost of $40,000 through the end of summer school, or $2,000 per week.

Advance Learning Technology

Each student receives a Chromebook when they begin their journey at CRSM. This significant and on-going financial commitment to technology has proven to be even more crucial when developing a successful hybrid remote learning model. Each Chromebook costs $300 or $40,000 for an entire grade level of students.
