During these unprecedented times of uncertainty and crisis, Colorado residents are grappling with the tragedy of Covid-19. However, there is an even deeper tragedy within the tragedy. This pandemic is a new challenge for most of us, but for our Senior loved ones living in nursing homes or struggling to stay safely in their own homes it is truly a matter of life or death.
Seniors who are most vulnerable to this rapidly spreading disease are those with the least resources to help themselves stay safe. They are isolated inside nursing homes, care centers and even their own homes. While the rest of the World begins to return to normal, they remain at ultra-high risk until there is a vaccine.
To stay safe, they need masks and other personal protective equipment. They need sanitation supplies and other help so they can safe from exposure and contraction of this deadly disease. They can’t go safely go to stores like the rest of us or have supplies delivered, and they often cannot bear the additional cost burden. All too often it is a question of buying safety supplies or making a house payment or buying food.
Whether it’s a Senior at home or a Care Center they live in, they need our help today!
