The Ed Reed Foundation has been serving at-risk youth in Baltimore and New Orleans for over 18 years through our community programs founded in mentorship, health and wellness, and exposure to new environments. Our Founder, Hall of Famer and Ravens legend Ed Reed, knows the impact that a positive mentor, constructive organized activities and new opportunities can have on underserved youth from his own personal experiences.
St. Rose, LA, the neighborhood that gave Pro Football Hall of Famer Ed Reed his start, had no outdoor public space for kids to play or families to gather. When Ed realized this sad fact, he set out to change it. The Ed Reed Foundation and partners are building a public park, complete with multi-use turf field, two basketball courts, playground, walking path, parking lot, and more! The park will be just 5 minutes up the road from where Ed grew up and will provide a much-needed space for youth to participate in healthy activities in a safe environment.
