A Legacy of Love

In 2019 after the tragic loss of their daughter, Bree, Kenny & Jennie Johnley turned their grief into purpose and created Bree's Gift, a registered 501c3 organization. The love, joy, and purpose they found as parents was a gift they wanted others to experience. At the time, Bree's Gift had a simple goal: To fund (1) adoption per year.

God has done immeasurably more since then, transforming brokenness into hope and a legacy of love.

Since 2019, because of God’s provision, Bree's Gift has completed 62 adoptions and provided over $1,281,750 in funding directly to adoptive families. 

In 2025 alone, a record breaking year, we helped bring home 21 children through adoption. These little ones came from five different places, two states and three countries, and every single story is a miracle of love. And, we sent $332,888.28 directly to families pursuing adoption. 

Every dollar moved mountains, removed barriers, and made a way where there simply wasn’t one.

Of the 21 children, six have special needs. These were adoptions that required additional support, specialized care, and urgent resources, yet God opened the door, and you helped us walk through it.

On October 5, 2019, Bree Isabel Johnley, passed away and went to heaven at only 4 years old. It was a day that changed her family's lives forever. And during their first few months of mourning, her parents decided to turn their grief into good with the creation of “Bree’s Gift.”

Bree’s Gift is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving the gift of a child to families looking to adopt.

Their goal is to fully fund the adoption of AT LEAST one child each year.
