How does Friends Support our school?
- Friends of North Beach, through our fundraising, provides as many highly trained paraprofessional teacher assistants and hourly teachers as possible at North Beach Elementary.
- In the primary grades, Friends funds additional support staff to allow our teachers to focus on instruction, while providing assistance to all students.
- In the intermediate grades, Friends funds extended programs in Technology, Science, Reading, Writing, and Math. These programs give children hands on learning experience while reinforcing lessons learned in class.
How does Friends Succeed?
- Through the commitment and generosity of our parents, the organization is able to finance these programs. We cannot fund extra staff without your donations. Please make it count!
- The Friends organization continues to set high standards and go beyond the normal curriculum offered at public schools enhancing public education to its highest potential.
- With your help, we want to continue the Friends legacy of funding these innovative programs that make North Beach Elementary unique among public schools. Please support the cause, investing in your child’s education and become a Friend!
