Thank you for supporting Chosen's 4th annual Friend's of Chosen Walk. This event raises awareness of the growing foster care crisis happening all around us, and raises funds to provide programs and support to those involved in providing love and care for foster kids. If you are making a pledge to support a certain individual or team, please indicate that on the pledge form.

We walk to raise awareness of the growing need for care givers and homes for kids in foster care.

Due to concerns and restrictions this years event is going to look very different. Although we will not be meeting together for this event, the opportunities to serve Chosen and raise awareness are endless. During the week of August 15th-22nd you can get out and walk, run, row, bike, or get moving however you can to raise awareness of the growing needs of foster care.

Register for our event to receive your t-shirt (or 5 pack of shirts if you want to put together a team) to wear while engaging in your events and raise pledges based on your activities. Here are a few suggestions of how you can participate:

Bike 3 miles a day

Walk 10,000 steps a day

Kayak for an hour a day

Or set goals for the entire week:

Run 30 miles

Hit 50,000 steps on your smart watch

Bowl 50 strikes

Get creative, set goals, and raise funds! Use your goals to engage your friends and family and raise funds to help Chosen's programs. There will be prizes for top fund-raisers and those that share pictures and videos of their activities! The more photos and videos you post with the tag #betheirvoice

Kickoff will be on Facebook live on Saturday, August 15th at 10 a.m. and will run through
Saturday, August 22nd . T-shirts can be picked up on that day from Chosen’s office or sent in
advance. Throughout the following week you will hear from our sponsors: SaintA, Waukesha
County Foster Care, Norris Beyond Fostering, Foundations, Children’s Community Health Plan,
The Edge Contracting, as we continue to generate excitement to help vulnerable children in our
communities.
